3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert
Day 1 – From Marrakech to Dades Gorge
Time pick up you from Marrakech in the morning around 8 am.
Travel over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) while enjoying superb views of the mountains and of the Berber Villages on the way. Stop for lunch and tour in the World heritage site of Ait Benhaddou. (This famous kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films.) Pass through Ouarzazate and continue towards the Valley of Roses and the Dades valley, Skoura oasis with its authentic 17 century kasbah, the valley of a thousand Kasbahs the Dades Gorge. Stay overnight at a Hotel(dinner&breakfast).
Day 2 – Dades Gorge to Merzouga desert
After breakfast ,depart to the Todra Gorge: a massive fault, rising to 300 m in a narrow valley with palmeries and berber Villages. After lunch in the gorges, get transported further into the desert to Merzouga, stops along the great sand dunes of Erg Chebbi where you will take a camel ride to the big dunes for sunset then move to the camp, have a tea, then dinner, ambiance with berber drums music,spend a night in a berber tent .
Day 3 – Merzouga to Marrakech
After back from desert by camel to the hotel for breakfast then return back to Ouarzazate and back over the high Atlas mountains. Arrival in Marrakech evening.
