3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Fes
Day 1 – From Marrakech to Dades Gorge
Depart from Marrakech to Dades valley via the high Atlas mountains Tizi n’Tichka pass throug the High Atlas mountains you will have time to stop and enjoy impressive landscapes and berber hamlets and an opportunity to visit the universal Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah an UNESCO site since in 1987. This berber Kasbah has been used as a very important destination for international filmmakers for more than 20 films was also one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt Road where caravans brought slaves, ivory, salt and silk from sub-Saharan countries to Marrakech and beyond. Passing through Ouarzazate, or what we call Hollywood of Africa since it’s has been as well a very famous destination for filmmakers, after Ouarzazate we will continue to Dades Valley , through berber villages around the valley ,Night in hotel (dinner&breakfast)
Day 2 – Dades Gorge to Merzouga desert
After breakfast, leave Dades Gorges travelling to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. berber villages are scattered along the way, passing through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which you notice the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, continuing to Merzouga, after a mint tea and relaxing little, you will start your camel trek an adventure in the sand dunes, once at the high dunes to see the sunset, a gret photo opportunity. The night is spent in a fully equipped nomad berber camp, you will enjoy a delicious dinner under stars light with music and song in the middle of the Sahara
Day 2 – Erg Chebbi Merzouga – Ziz valley – Midelt -Ifrane — Fes
After sunrise in the morning on the big dunes, ride your camels, this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures . Once at your hotel you can shower have a breakfast then we head towards Fes. Stopping on the road to enjoy passing through the High Atlas Mountains again. We stop by a town called Midelt where you’ll have lunch. This town is a very impressive mountain city at 1488 meters of altitude, well situated lower down the Jbel Ayachi (3737 m). The tour finishing in Fes.
